Great Big Beautiful Life by Emily Henry
Full disclosure, I’ll read anything Emily Henry writes. I’m a sucker for allllll the chemistry, the forced proximity, and the realization that in the end, love really does conquer all.
In her latest book, Great Big Beautiful Life, two writers compete for the chance to tell the larger-than-life story of a woman with more than a couple of plot twists up her sleeve.
Here Henry explores “life's winding paths and dangerous dead-ends—and the way that love can lead us out of the labyrinth.”
There are two intertwined story lines, and I won’t say more than this, but I definitely preferred one over the other. There are no shortage of plot twists that had me racing to finish it.
I did hybrid regular book/audiobook and enjoyed them both.
This book is for you if:
You’re still talking about The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid.
You’re more than a little obsessed with Princess Diana, the Kennedys or the Hearsts.
You’re down with anything folklore coded.
